Ooh. Is that a two-stroke? I don’t see any V4 badges.

Maybe, maybe not. I once had a ‘67 Monte Carlo (“a sports car with super performance” per the owner’s manual) and it had a 2-stroke engine, but they did start shipping V4s in ‘67.

We can assume the V4 was a superior engine, since the factory switched their race cars to it, but that old 2-stroke 3-cylinder felt strong from idle to red line and the exhaust sound was heavenly.

That is really cool, especially that it seems to be well-kept and in working order.

Yeah, the 2-stroke just sounds more fun; I went for a ride in a Sonett at Carlisle last year and it was hilarious. I had a ‘73 96 V4, and although it kept up with traffic it was a fairly joyless motor.
